Wendy, a Trill over 1000 years old, has traveled extensively in all 4 quadrants; She knows hundreds of universal languages and dialects; Her nickname in Starfleet was Babel.  She attended Starfleet for the experience but became bored and dropped out.  She finds the Holo wars her only avenue of escape and met timothy one night in the lounge of the phantom, a pleasure space cruiser where the holo wars are held and bets are placed on the event.  sitting down for a game of cards, timothy beat wendy in the finals of a poker tournament.  Being a master of body language as well, she became intrigued with Timothy when she asked what his secret was.  Timothy said he never bluffs.
