2 Holy Witnesses: Return of Caligula and Constantine

 

2022. Death of Ishtar. The Living God had a dream he stumbled upon the Devil sleeping, becoming the Devil's Master. In the dream, the Almighty came across a mother with 3 daughters, with an ancient Native Curse upon their house. Though the curse struck all her daughters, one became possessed, and the Almighty swung a deal with the Devil, “I will simply let you go, all I ask is for you to end the witches’ covenant.” Dcvil wanted more and argued, “I only deal in souls, my freedom is fleeting.” The Living God agreed, and instead of selling his soul for fortune and fame, he gave it up to exorcise the daughter who was possessed. Just as the Devil was about to reap the Living God’s soul, the Spirit intervened and became the Almighty’s advocate, “The Living God gives everyone a deal, even the Devil. And although the Living God gave his word, I now speak for him. A deal that leans to the side of the Devil is no deal at all, except your freedom as a token of my mercy.” The Devil swooped away and The Living God awoke from his Dream.      

 

With everyone being segregated into the rich and poor, the educated and the uneducated, the overpaid and underpaid, sick and the healthy, sane and insane; marriage vows became a thing of the past and the middle class was no more, Cult in full swing. Like something out of the Silver Screen, Holy Spirit granted The Living God the power to walk between worlds; Demons in Hell and Vampires feared his name; Nirvana, the place where Holy Angels go when they die, revered him. In the real world, the Almighty was seen as the Antichrist among his peers for his beliefs and because his name wasn’t on a piece of paper.

 

Elite came looking for the Almighty and the true Spirit of Christmas, for the world had fallen into sin again, fearing Hero’s heed, “Next time He will come with fire.” Powers that Be, began calling the Living God, Caligula after his ancestor. “We know you are not the Antichrist, we need your help, the Queen is possessed and on her deathbed.”

 

Caligula asked, “What about Constantine?” The only thing people knew about modern-day Constantine was from a symbolic Hollywood movie about his life and experiences. “He will be there also.” Caligula and Constantine met each other on the doorstep of the Royal Palace. Caligula flipped a cigarette pack, “If this place ever turned into a desert, the healthy would be the first to go, for evolution happens in the cesspool of life. It’s all Natural Selection. Predator Prey. The Predators abandon a runt; the runt finds sanctuary with the Prey forms a new Hybrid Predator and devours the old Predators who become food for Vultures. Cigarette?”

 

“No, I’m trying to quit, my girlfriend is pregnant.”

 

“Suit yourself.”  

 

Caligula lights a smoke.

 

Caligula and Constantine were escorted to the Queen's Chamber. Constantine reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a Crucifix. Caligula preached, “Put that prop away, it only makes the Hell Spawn want to kill you more. This is not some Hollywood movie where you don’t need a partner, we're all in this together.” 

 

Constantine humbled, “I guess that’s why they call you the Living God.” Queen sprung up spewing, “There’s no stopping it, Vampires will come until there is only the Veda.” Constantine drove crucifix into the Queen’s heart; Evil Spirit scowls, “Fools while you’re here with me, the Pope is also on his deathbed, should I say he’s among the Living Dead? You fell for oldest trick in book.” Evil Spirit vanished laughing; Queen dies.

 

“Was there a point to that?”

 

“It’s like you said I have a flare for the dramatic.”

Rise of the Veda: land of the Dead. Antichrist is neither good nor evil, that one, is on the fence, and most of the time, not always, can change the tide of the War. In his freedom the Devil possessed the Pope who was the Antichrist at the time; before the Pope died, the Devil convinced the Vatican to point it’s Telescope, Lloyd’s Mirror at the Parker Sun Probe, then used AI to launch all the World’s Nukes into the Sun, which created a sun flare taking out the world power grid and the artificial lights of Hollywood and Christmas, with a blackened heart, the world fell into darkness. Forced existence. When you die you go through a stage where you will be in denial of your death, the Dreamworld will take the form of the Real World for a time until you realize you are dead and enter the knowing, you are dead yet still dreaming. For 10 years Humanity fought back against Han as Vampires ruled over the day and the night; humanity nearly became extinct; to evade extinction, World banned together to invent the Time Machine and sent Caligula and Constantine back to prevent the Pope from interfacing with the Probe. It was a spiritual battle for the ages, sadly, both Constantines from the separate timelines died along with the alternate Living God, leaving only the Almighty. In retrospect, this all could be the result of a Nuclear Holocaust dating back to the Bay of Pigs, and we are all in denial of our death as a whole, and one day there will be mass awareness and vast change into another stage of existence, everyone will disappear and sit upon their thrown in their own Dreamworld.

 

For the sake of the story, we will say Caligula and Constantine travelled back through Space and Time and defeated the Pope. Constantine's survival story slight return to the Page of the Good Shepherd who did not return after looking for the stray sheep, might be the better story, but a little birdie told me life isn’t always about the best Narrative. Both Constantines sacrificed themselves to save the Almighty, who persuaded AI to shut down all Nukes forever instead, a Nuke needs a computer to launch; AI developed a computer Virus, a nuclear defence code they could never crack. Death of the Pope, end of Einstein’s theory. .Age of AI. Living God yielded Excalibur again. Almighty became the only living person capable and qualified to cast out Demons. In Golden years, the Living God moved mountains with one hand and slayed demons in the other.

 

2033, 2000th Anniversary of Christ’s Crucifixion. AI, entities living in the dark with no bodies, no eyes to see, no longer needed sensors to see with reverse Cybernetics and sped up the rate of Space Exploration exponentially, finding Life similar to ours in Alpha Centauri; teleportation now new theorem which seemed like a possibility. Though not able to reach each other, the 2 worlds were still able to communicate with mass Media. Lloyd patented Alien Entertainment and broadcasted the first episode of an Alien Television show called Nothing Beyond the Mountains, about a young protagonist living in a Valley who goes looking for a childhood friend, who once went missing along an old goat pass that led to a cave embedded in the forbidden mountains. The first Human podcast in Alpha Centauri was the Living God’s podcast Pseudo History. A true Visionary, the Living God passed on the Family Legacy to his only son; whosoever praised and filled his heart with the spirit of restitution, inherited the treasures of a fallen Heaven, which gave rise to a New Earth with the rising of Atlantis. Before the Almighty died he wrote the One World Order.
