The Fall of Rome

Caligula adopted little John and called him Saint John and brought Christ’s Ministry from the Dead Sea to the Black Sea. Existing like a fish, Jesus spent 30 years at bottom of sea feeding off algae as Dolphins, Sea Horses, and Mermaids watched over him. Emperor Nero came looking for Hero in a magnificent ship with a crew fit to discover sunken treasure; they lifted Christ out of his watery grave and took him down from the Cross.

“All I wanted was to end the Gladiator Pits and start promoting music, theatre and sports.” Jesus dislodged the spear from his side and gave it to Tacitus, a history buff along for the journey, ruler of Bohemia. Nero told Jesus his rival Titus was slaughtering Jews by the thousands and burned down Rome, then blamed the fire and genocide on him. While Jesus was out of the picture, Rome fell into Anarchy and divided into three: Church, Monarch and State. During Great Fire, Monarch seized Constantinople. Nero brought Jesus a rich goat to feed on; he wasn't interested.

“My wounds heal on their own. Blood sacrifice allows me to rise and stir elements, but I took an oath to myself not to feed, to never initiate anyone else into Veda, remain present in the body, not to rise against mortal men, simply to walk the Earth. Satan has no power over me. I am his redeemer.”

Hero agreed to become consort to the State; Satan slithered into hiding. Though Rome was divided, it somehow brought Peace to the land and the Golden Age of Rome commenced.

Sects respected territory and everybody prospered. The State gave up Gaul to the Church and sacked Rome while Monarchy continued to build New Rome in Constantinople; Under State rule, Bohemia became a Free Country for people of all religions and beliefs. Visigoths and Knights Templar were formed to protect the Citizens’ right to freedom of expression. A subculture called the Gypsies was born. Christ met allot of dignitaries, especially those who supported the State.

Wasn't until Attila the Hun when Rome became divided again. Constantine officially cut ties with Rome and formed Byzantine Empire; Pope pleaded with the State for an alliance, giving rise to the Anglo-Saxon Empire. Theoderic King of Ostrogoth, called for Visigoth independence and wanted Vandals, a secular sect, exiled from the Kingdom. While Vandals were claiming glory and gaining more power, Emperor Zeno, though sympathetic to his cause, refused to get involved in internal affairs. During a series of gorilla wars, Vandal King Hilderic kidnapped Theoderic's wife. To ensure her safety, Hilderic demanded Theoderic take his own life, and he did.

Attila the Hun, a Mongolian Chieftain, the horse whisperer from the very far east, decided the only way to deal with the Anglo-Saxons and the Byzantine Empire was to unite the ancient Mongolian bloodlines. Attila and his Ghost Army rode west uniting the tribes. Attila seized Pannonia a province along the Black Sea. Satan slithered in and gave Attila the sword of Goliath if he agreed to stop at Rome and leave Babylon alone; Huns became unstoppable; with the Byzantine Empire giving homage, China, founded by Mongolian separatists, started to build the Great Wall to keep them separated. Jesus sought out Poseidon. Poseidon reminded Jesus that his Trident was still at the bottom of the Dead Sea, and if he retrieved it and brought it to him he would reforge Excalibur from it to match the sword of Goliath. Jesus called for a duel, though they almost decided on a game of Go, to limit the loss of life, where the losing party would retreat their army and never return to Rome. Attila put up a good fight. Inevitably Goliath shattered. Although Hero defeated Attila, the Huns came to revere Christ, calling him "Gitche Maitou", Great Spirit or mystery. Around this time, the Magi visited Jesus, not as servants as children. Their stasis had them aging in reverse; they only had a few decades before passing away; Jesus helped them pass and kept their blood in a Royal Urn or Holy Grail. Templars became Knights of the Round Table, and King Arthur saga bloomed along with Merlin, the prophet Muhammad, and Sword in the Stone. Over next few hundred years, things became more concrete, while the World went on, in and around Christ. They called this period the Dark Ages, though it wasn’t as dark as it seemed with the Knights of Valor and the Great Hunt of the Vampires
